The Irish American Club of Washington, D.C. is a voluntary non-political association of people of Irish origin, or those who have an interest in Irish cultural activities within the Metropolitan area of Washington, D.C. for social, charitable, and patriotic purposes. The general purpose of the Club is threefold: To promote and educate all phases of Irish culture; To aid charitable works, and to assist each other in all commendable undertakings; To promote and uphold in its members the genuine Irish spirit of loyalty and devotion to the land of our birth or adoption, the United States of America. December Meeting at St Camillus in Silver Spring - Sunday December 11, 2011: Please plan on attending our December meeting which begins with a Mass at 6p.m. Following Mass we will have our pot luck supper and perhaps exercise our vocal chords with a few choice Christmas carols. We would love to see a large crowd!
